Maine Portrait Studio
I am so excited to finally introduce the Sweet Light studio! This project took WAY longer than expected but it was so worth the wait!! A complete labor of love and I am thrilled with the renovation.
This 100+ year old barn was where my hubby parked his cars, snowmobiles, lawn mowers, and anything else you can think of. For the last 10 years I envisioned one day it would be my photography studio. After creating the Sweet Light brand I knew it was time to talk to Jay about the barn. I was ready to have a space dedicated to meeting with clients and photographing children & babies. Jay agreed and the work began!!!!
Here are a few images of pre-renovation.
This dark & dingy barn was transformed into a 800 square foot natural light studio with a massive walk in closet and an 1/2 bath. It is now bright & airy and I seriously could hide out in here all day long:)
So here it is!
I can't tell you how amazing it is to have a place for everything! I have collected so many newborn & baby props, child furniture, maternity gowns & girl dresses over the years and I am more organized than I could ever imagine! I have a comfortable area to invite my clients in to relax during a session or have a cup of coffee with a bride & groom. It was so much fun designing this space and coordinating it with my bight & airy Sweet Light brand and the new coastal vibe of Casey Durgin Photography to be introduced very soon!
I am so thankful for my amazingly handy husband and friends who helped with this gorgeous studio! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! XO
